  14. We are using a Zoom V34 with our Power Mac 7200 and MacTCP and InterSLIP 
  15. for transparent internet access through the Univ. of Montana's mainframe. 
  16.  It took us a very long time to get it all to work right - the final 
  17. thing we ended up having to do was turn the modem on and off if we had 
  18. previously been using Zterm - we've been told that Zterm interacts with 
  19. the modem in some way which locked out InterSLIP access.  It worked for a 
  20. while, but now isn't again.  Our retailer has agreed to an exchange for a 
  21. Global Village, whose software I prefer anyway, but the questions 
  22. remain: will we have the same problem with their modems, what exactly is 
  23. the problem, and is there anything short of power cycling the modem which 
  24. will do the trick?  Thanks for your help,
